The Cast Iron Plant belongs to the Araceae family, and is
of the Aspidistra Genus. The species is Elatior. This plant
originates from Asia and is a foliage plant, commonly used
for mass planting. The plant height in the photo below is
24-30 inches, and is 18-24 inches wide. The leaf color is
black green and is generally a shorter plant. This plant
requires low water, low humidity, and tolerates lower light
levels. |
